EgyptianRice Kofta (beef fingers with rice)



I'm certain that every body will like this meal. But I don't recomend it more than once a month, because it's very rich in fats and carbs.

You need

1/2 kg (1pound) minced beef meat
1/2 kg washed and drained rice
1 cup diced onion
1 garlic head
1 cup parsley and dill
1 tsp salt, 1 tsp black pepper, 1 tsp meat spices
Vegetable oil

For sauce

6 cups of fresh tomatoe juice
2 chilly green peppers cut into rings
4 minced garlic cloves
Salt and pepper

Procedure

  • In a kitchen machine, beat rice, parsley, dill, salt, papper and spices
  • Take them out of machine
  • Put minced meat in kitchen machine and beat it to a paste
  • Now add the first mixture and beat again to get a smooth paste
  • Oil your palms and shape kofta paste into fingers
  • Deep fry to brown colour
  • Dip Kofta in sauce and eat it with cooked rice

Cooking sauce

  • In a pan place some vegetable oil and garlic
  • Put on fire and mix till garlic becomes golden
  • Pour tomatoe juice  to the pan
  • Add, chelly peppers, salt and pepper and let it boil for 15 minutes
